After retiring Graeme & Bev Millard knew they wanted to downsize, but it all seemed too difficult to move from a large two story house to a two bedroom home. Two years later the benefits of downsizing won the day. We are pleased we made the move to Golden Crest Manors whilst we both had the energy to do so. We quickly settled in and realised the friendliness of this style of living. The quality of the homes and all the facilities made it very easy to settle in quickly. Welcoming neighbours and the diversity of both social and physical activities help to keep us feel younger. Bowls, Darts, Cards, Mah-jong, Tai Chi, Arts & Crafts, Snooker, Tennis, Bingo, Indoor Bowls, Cinema, a very active social committee to organise every thing from Fashion Parades, to Australia Day Celebrations, Anzac Day, Learning C.P.R. and many things in between, are enjoyed by Residents. It also bought comfort knowing that should anything happen to either of us we are surrounded by friends to support us.
The location of Golden Crest Manors is second to none and as we sit on our verandah, talking to friends who pass by, we are happy to call Golden Crest Manors home!!!!
When we were looking for a place on the Gold Coast, we were told to check out Golden Crest Manors.
We are so glad we did!!
We have great neighbours, a great comminity feeling exists and we could not be more satisfied with our choice.
Since moving into Golden Crest Manors we have joined many of the groups available and have never been busier.
Access to public transport is just outside the front gate and our community bus operates 3 days a week to major Gold Coast shopping centres. The Social Club organises great events, as well as day trips for residents.
